Transportation infrastructure is often inadequate in the regions where JLH operates, making it difficult for local workers to access project sites such as feeding programs, community outreach initiatives, and well drilling projects. Many of these workers lack personal transportation as well.
To address this challenge, we have provided bicycles, motorbikes, and vehicles, significantly enhancing their ability to reach more areas and increase their effectiveness. However, there are still many more individuals in need of assistance.

The areas where JLH operates in Nepal are largely mountainous and difficult to access. We have provided various forms of transportation for workers based on their needs, enabling them to achieve significantly more than before. However, many others still require assistance.

Motorbikes and bicycles are very helpful for our teams on the ground that travel around frequently in remote areas with rough roads, installing water pumps, teaching in schools, distributing mosquito nets, etc.

Several of our programs need transportation to get off the ground:
Health Clinics: One of our doctors conducts health clinics, and we aim to expand this service. He needs a motorbike to travel to other areas.
Sewing Classes for Women: Our sewing class teacher wants to extend her training program. She needs a van due to the long distances involved.
