Transportation

“Vehicles play a crucial role in helping us distribute food to the poor, mosquito nets to prevent malaria and dengue fever, and to transport water pump equipment throughout Pakistan.

Motorbikes are especially helpful in navigating rough and narrow roads, enabling us to reach our distribution targets effectively.”

- Our JLH Pakistan Projects leader

Transportation infrastructure is often inadequate in the regions where JLH operates, making it difficult for local workers to access project sites such as feeding programs, community outreach initiatives, and well drilling projects. Many of these workers lack personal transportation as well.

To address this challenge, we have provided bicycles, motorbikes, and vehicles, significantly enhancing their ability to reach more areas and increase their effectiveness. However, there are still many more individuals in need of assistance.

“My name is Sadam, and I have been working among the Marwadi and other tribes. I was unable to go very far, however, because I had no transportation.

Thank you to JLH for giving me this bicycle! Now I can go much farther and help many more people.”
